Prunella Cake

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon ground allspice
• Cream Frosting
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¾ cup prunes, chopped
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¾ cup buttermilk
• ½ cup water

  • ½ cup shortening
  • 6 to 8 whole sugar-coated prunes (optional)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
