Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) Brown Sugar
- 1 package(s) yellow cake mix, divided (18.25 ounce pkg)
- 2 teaspoon(s) pumpkin pie spice
- 1 can(s) pumpkin (16 ounce can)
- 2 teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
- ¼ cup(s) water
- 2 Eggs
- + 2 more ingredients

- ¼ cup(s) butter or margarine
- ¾ cup(s) chopped walnuts or pecans
Mix 2/3 C. cake mix with sugar, nuts, and butter; set aside. Blend together remaining cake mix and other ingredients; pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan; sprinkle with reserved topping. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes until done. Cool. Cut into 16-24 bars. Bars freeze well.
