Pumpkin Butter 8 Cups


  • 6 cup(s) mashed pumpkin (canned or fresh)
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
  • 1 pound(s) sugar
  • ½ teaspoon(s) cloves

Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until thick. Put into hot sterile jars seal. Spices may be adjusted to taste. Yields 8 1/2 pts
