Ingredients

• ¾ cup butter, softened
• 1-½ cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup canned pumpkin
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1-½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup chopped dates
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 10 red candied cherries, chopped

  • 1-½ cups confectioners' sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk

1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in pumpkin.
