Ingredients

  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Cooking spray
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin
  • 3 large eggs
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Freshly grated nutmeg (optional)
    • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
    • ½ cup 2% reduced-fat milk
    • ½ cup granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 325°. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat; cook until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
