Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Beat eggs at high speed with an electric mixer until foamy; gradually add sugar, beating well.
