Rhubarb Lattice Pie with Cardamom and Orange

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream
  • 10 cups rhubarb
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • 7 tablespoons water
  • ¼ cup strawberry preserves
  • 2 ½ teaspoons grated orange peel
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ¾ cup unsalted butter
    • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
    • ¼ cup orange juice
    • ¾ teaspoon salt
    • 34 teaspoons sugar
    • 2 tablespoons sugar

Blend flour, sugar, and salt in processor 5 seconds. Add butter. Using on/off turns, blend until coarse meal forms. Add 6 tablespoons ice water.
