Rhubarb Meringue Dessert

Ingredients

  • 6 cup(s) rhubarb - chopped
  • FILLING:
  • ¼ cup(s) pecans - chopped
  • 4 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 2 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) butter
  • CRUST:
  • + 11 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) cream of tartar
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
    • ¾ cup(s) sugar
    • 6 egg whites - at room temperature
    • MERINGUE:
    • 1 cup(s) cream
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
    • 7 tablespoon(s) flour
    • 2 cup(s) sugar
    • 6 egg yolks

CRUST: Mix all ingredients together until crumbly. Pat into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes. FILLING: Combine all the filling ingredients together and pour onto the bottom layer. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes or until done. MERINGUE: ...
