Rhubarb Orange Sauce


  • 3 tablespoon(s) frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 pound(s) rhubarb
  • 2/3 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) water
  • ½ teaspoon(s) vanilla

Wash and trim rhubarb. Slice ribs about 1/2 inch thick. Put all ingredients except vanilla into a saucepan and simmer until rhubarb is soft, about 10 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Use sauce warm or chill.  Keeps, refrigerated and covered, for a week or more.
