Round Steak Over Rice


  • round steak
  • 2 cup(s) dried onions
  • 2 cup(s) ketchup
  • 4 cup(s) water
  • 1 each(s) salt & pepper (1 teaspoon each)
  • cooked rice

Cut round steak into 2-3 inch pieces. Brown steak in large pot. Add water and onions and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 4 hours or until meat falls apart easily. Keep enough water to cover meat while simmering. It may take more than 4 cups. Add ketchup and cook another 1/2 hour. Serve over rice.
