Royal Icing 2


  • 6 tablespoon(s) water
  • 4 cup(s) sifted confectioners sugar (1 lb)
  • 3 level T. meringue powder

Beat all ingredients for 10 minutes until icing forms in peaks. Add paste food coloring if desired. Makes about 3 cups. Keep icing covered with a damp paper towel and plastic wrap to keep it from drying out. Can keep in refrigerator for a few days.
