Royal Icing 3

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon(s) warm water
  • 3 tablespoon(s) meringue powder
  • 1 sifted powdered sugar (1 lb 4 cup )

Beat all ingredients until icing forms peaks (7 to 10 minutes at low speed with heavy-duty mixer, 10 to 12 minutes at higher speed with hand-held mixer). For stiffer icing, use 1 T. less water. Makes 3 cups.
