Royal Icing 5

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon(s) cream of tartar
  • 1 pound(s) powdered sugar
  • 3 egg whites at room temperature

Combine ingredients. Beat 7 to 10 minutes at high speed until it holds a strong peak. Keep bowl covered with damp terry cloth while you work. Frosting dries very hard.
