Rustic Walnut Rapini Pasta


  • ½ cup grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 rapini, roughly chopped (about 6 cups)
  • ½ pound rigatoni
  • 1 cup California walnut halves, toasted
  • 4 garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sliced red onion
