  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup (2 ounces) pine nuts
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach leaves

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the pine nuts and cook until lightly golden, about 3 minutes.
