  • 1 large boiling potato
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound sea scallops, tough muscles removed
  • 1 cup frozen onions
  • 4 slices bacon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    • 1 10-oz package frozen mixed vegetables
    • 1 fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
