  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 pound sea scallops, tough muscles removed
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large boiling potato
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

    • 1 cup frozen onions
    • 1 fresh thyme or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
