  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add milk and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. 2.
