Sea Foam Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups packed light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon pecan flavored extract

1. Combine light brown and white sugars, water, corn syrup, and salt in a heavy 2 quart saucepan. Cook covered until mixture boils rapidly.
