  • 1 bottle(s) dark Karo syrup (16 ounce bottle)
  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 8 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • melted chocolate

Use a big pan. Heat Karo syrup and sugar,stirring constantly. Bring to hard crack stage (350°). Remove from heat. Sift in baking soda and stir. Empty on buttered pan. Do not touch or move for 2 hours. Break into pieces and dip in chocolate.
