Seared Scallops


  • 1 teaspoon(s) Balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Granny Smith apple, finely slivered
  • ½ stick(s) butter
  • 1 pound(s) dry scallops (aka "Diver" or "Dayboat")

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Wash scallops and pat dry. Salt and pepper both sides of scallops. Place in frying pan and cook on both sides 3 - 5 minutes per side.
