Sesame-Crusted Tuna with Ginger Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • Glass Noodle Stir-Fry
  • ½ cup thinly sliced peeled ginger
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha chile sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup rice vinegar
    • 6 6-ounce, 1-inch-thick tuna steaks
    • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
    • ¼ cup vegetable oil
    • ½ small onion, finely chopped
    • ½ cup sesame seeds
    • ¼ cup fresh orange juice

In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil. Add the ginger, onion and garlic and cook over moderate heat, stirring, until softened, 5 minutes.
