Sesame Spinach Salad


  • 2 tsp soy sauce (or to taste)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil (or to taste)
  • 1-½ tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 lb flat-leaf spinach, stemmed and washed
  • ½ to 1 tsp sugar or honey

Cook the spinach in a large pot of boiling salted water for 30 seconds, or until just tender. Drain the spinach in a colander and rinse with ice water.
