Ingredients

  • Oregano sprigs (optional)
  • 6 tablespoons pomegranate molasses or hoisin sauce, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 pounds boned leg of lamb
  • ½ cup grated fresh onion
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • 1 onion, quartered and separated into pieces
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Trim fat from lamb. Cut lamb into 60 (3/4-inch) pieces. Combine lamb, 3 tablespoons molasses, grated onion, salt, and pepper in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal.
