Short Paste for Tarts


  • 2 large egg yolks or 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup (6 oz., 170 g) butter or margarine, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
