Shortbread 5


  • 1 cup(s) butter
  • 2 cup(s) flour (unsifted)
  • ¾ cup(s) 10 X sugar

Mix all ingredients in bowl by kneading with hands for approximately 15 minutes. Pat into an 8" square baking pan. Using a fork, prick to the bottom all over. Bake at 300° for 50 to 60 minutes. (Shortbread should be light brown in color.) While hot, cut into small pieces. Cool. Remove from pan.
