Ingredients

  • 18 flour tortillas
  • 2 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • tomatillo or tomato salsa
  • 2 ½ teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 ½ teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 2 large onions
    • metal skewers or a grill basket
    • lime wedges
    • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
    • 2 pounds skirt steak, halved crosswise
