Sloppy Tofu

Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • ½ cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 (12 ounce) package extra firm tofu

1. Place the block of tofu onto a plate, then place another plate on top. Set a 3 to 5 pound weight on top (a container filled with water works well).
