Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cupssugar
  • 1 ¼ cupsfirmly packedbrown sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups margarine or 1 ¼ cupsbutter, softened
  • 1 ¼ cupsbutter, softened
  • 2 teaspoonsvanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 ¼ cupsall-purpose flour
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 teaspoonsbaking soda
    • ½ teaspoonsalt
    • 1 (12 -24 ounce) packagesemi-sweet chocolate chips

1 Heat oven to 375*F. 2 In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. 3 Add vanilla and eggs; blend well. 4 Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. 5 Stir in chocolate chips. 6 Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets....
