Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups (350 g) all-purpose flour (we use Gold Medal unbleached all-purpose flour)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup (230 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature (2 sticks)
  • ½ cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (200 grams) lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
    • 1 ½ cups (255 grams or 9 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips (Like them extra chocolaty? Use 2 cups of chocolate chips).

Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or use a silicon baking mat.
