Soft Pumpkin Drop Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • 1 cup(s) canned pumpkin
  • 2 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • ½ cup(s) shortening
  • 1 tablespoon(s) grated orange peel
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
    • ½ cup(s) raisins
    • ½ cup(s) chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375. Mix sugar, pumpkin, shortening, and orange peel. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix in raisins and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Frost with Vanilla Frosting.
