Ingredients

• 2 cup(s) sugar
• 1 cup(s) Crisco
• 2 eggs (Large)
• ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
• 2 teaspoon(s) Vanilla
• 5 ½ cup(s) all-purpose flour with 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup(s) buttermilk with 1 teaspoon baking soda

Whip together first 4 ingredients. Add vanilla and stir. Add flour combination alternately with buttermilk mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Preheat oven to 350°F.
