Spaghetti With Fresh Basil Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, un-drained
  • 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • ¾ pound ground round
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup dry red wine
  • ¾ teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste

    • 1 cup finely chopped onion
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, un-drained
    • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • ½ cup chopped fresh basil
