Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 pound sweet Italian sausages
  • 2 28-ounce cans diced tomatoes in juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • + 10 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
    • 3 tablespoons fresh basil
    • 1 pound spaghetti
    • 4 tablespoons fresh basil
    • 1 ½ cups onion
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • ¼ cup onion
    • 2 tablespoons dried currants
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 garlic clove

Heat oil in heavy large pot over medium-low heat. Add onion; sauté until golden, about 10 minutes. Add garlic; stir 1 minute. Add tomatoes with juices and 2 tablespoons basil; bring to boil.
