Spiced Apple Rings 2

Ingredients

• 6 apples; firm (medium)
• 1 ½ cup(s) sugar
• 1 ½ cup(s) Cranberry Juice; unsweetened
• ¼ cup(s) lemon juice
• 2 stick(s) cinnamon
• 3 whole cloves

Wash and core apples; slice unpeeled into thick slices. Place in flat pan. Combine remaining ingredients, and boil 5 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup juice mixture and set aside.
