  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 medium nectarines (about 1 3/4 pounds)
  • 1 ¼ cups self-rising flour
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons finely grated lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 15 tablespoons sugar
