Spiced Yogurt Dip with Pita and Peppers

- 2 medium garlic cloves
- ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
- ½ teaspoon caraway seeds
- 2 green cardamom pods
- 1 electric coffee/spice grinder or a mortar and pestle
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
