Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 peeled avocado, cut into 16 slices
  • 4 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 4 nori (seaweed) sheets
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 ½ cups short-grain rice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 4 (4 1/2-ounce) soft-shell crabs, cleaned
    • 1 ½ cups water
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • ½ cup thinly sliced green onions
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Bring rice and water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand, covered, 15 minutes.
