Spinach Dip with Bacon and Cheese

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon(s) black pepper fresh ground

• ½ cup(s) sharp cheddar cheese, divided
• ²/₃ cup(s) bacon pieces, bits or crumbles
• ½ cup(s) celery, chopped fine
• chopped water chestnuts, drained
• package of dry vegetable soup mix

  • 10 ounce(s) chopped frozen spinach, thaw and drain

Thaw spinach and drain in sink. Combine the spinach, water chestnuts, celery, mayonnaise, soup mix, green onions, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
