Spinach Salad with Grilled Red Onion Rings and Sesame Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 1 large red onion, cut crosswise into 12 (1/4-inch-thick) rings (about 10 ounces)
- 10 cup baby spinach leaves (about 10 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil, divided
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
