Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons chilled vegetable shortening, cut into ½-inch pieces
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons ice water
  • 1 16-ounce can solid pack pumpkin
  • ½ cup (packed) dark brown sugar

    • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon ground mace
    • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
    • ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • ¼ cup whole milk
    • ¼ cup dark rum
    • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
