Squash Pecan Casserole


  • ¾ cup(s) mayonnaise
  • ½ cup(s) cheese, grated
  • ½ stick(s) butter, softened
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Plain bread crumbs
  • 1 pound(s) yellow squash, sliced, cooked and drained.(recipe calls for 1 lb but I use at least 2 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 egg
    • ½ cup(s) Pecans

Mix all ingredients, except bread crumbs and pecans. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish or 13x9x2 inch pan with canola or vegetable spray. Place ingredients into pan and top with bread crumbs and pecans. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
