• 2 cup(s) chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cup(s) sliced onion
  • 1 jar(s) chopped pimento (large jar)
  • 2 teaspoon(s) mustard seed
  • 2 cup(s) vinegar
  • 3 cup(s) sugar
  • 8 cup(s) thinly sliced squash
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 3 quart(s) ice cold water
    • 2/3 cup(s) salt

Mix salt in ice water. Add squash and soak for 1 hour. Bring to a boil, sugar, vinegar and mustard seed. Drain squash and add with pimentos, onions, and bell pepper to sugar mix. Bring back to a boil. Put in jars and seal.
