Ingredients

  • 3 small hard-shelled clams (2 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter; 3 1/2 lb total)
  • ½ pound sliced bacon
  • bread
  • 5 ounces baby spinach
  • ½ teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
  • 2 ½ pounds tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
