Steamed Sugar Snap Peas


  • 4 cups sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Garnish: fresh flowers
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Arrange peas in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Toss with butter, salt, and pepper. Garnish, if desired. Remove flowers before serving. Prep: 5 min., Cook: 4 min.
