Steamed Thai Mussels

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs mussels, scrubbed and beards removed
  • ¼ teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce or 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup lemon juice

1 Whisk together all but the mussels. 2 Arrange mussels on a barbecue, close lid and cook 5 minutes or until mussels open. Transfer to a platter. 3 Drizzle with the sauce.
