Ingredients

  • Poached cranberries (recipe follows)
  • ¼ cup slivered pitted Medjool dates (see notes)
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • Date cake (recipe follows)
  • Toffee sauce (recipe follows)
  • 1 quart whipping cream
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

1. In a bowl, with a mixer on high speed, whip 2 cups cream with 2 tablespoons each granulated sugar and rum until soft peaks form. 2.
