  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cups crème frache*
  • 6 large egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 4 cups quartered hulled fresh strawberries
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1 ½ teaspoons finely grated lemon peel
    • ¼ cup orange juice
    • plus 6 whole strawberries for garnish
    • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
    • 1 orange
