  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced shallot
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Sauce:
