Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon saffron threads
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 2 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • + 10 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil
    • 1 pound cod or other lean white fish fillets
    • 2 cups chopped onion
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 pound diced peeled Yukon gold potatoes
    • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen baby peas
    • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    • 1 lemon slice
