Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, divided
  • 1 ½ cups orange juice
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

    • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • ¼ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
    • 1 (15-ounce) package refrigerated piecrusts
    • ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 4 medium-size sweet potatoes

Pierce sweet potatoes several times with a fork, and place on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 1 hour or until done; cool slightly.
